More
than three years in the making, VIA, the second album from Last Three
Lives, includes much new material, as well as three tracks from their debut album, totally reworked in a full-band context.
Last Three Lives trademark synth ambience and guitar textures are given
a shot of adrenalin with the addition of a powerful rhythm section,
thanks to new members Rorac Johnson and Carlos Aloy. Listen
to the complex but delicate rhythms of "Muse", and the anthemic "Rocket
Science", to get a taste of the new direction of the band.
Meanwhile, three totally improvised live tracks give a glimpse into the jam sessions which form the core of LTL's compositions.

Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Michael Brook, and David Sylvian, LAST
THREE LIVES is a genre-bending musical adventure.
Mark and David put their musical heads together for the first time,
threw in a healthy dose of studio wizardry, and created a unique and
powerful album which is destined to make an impression for years to come.
From the
spacious melancholy of "Memory" to the ethnic world-tripping of "Kalahari"
and the stilling "Sky Over Earth", LAST THREE LIVES
is a strong debut effort from
this promising duo.
